Quickstart

1. Start a trial — you get 5 simulated machines.
2. Create a site, an asset type (brand, category, work rate) and an asset.
3. Provision your tracker's IMEI under Devices and attach it to the asset.
4. Print a QR sheet, stick a label on the machine, scan it with your phone.
5. Enable the starter rules you want (low battery, offline, theft).

FMC130 installation

1. Power: red to permanent +12/24 V (fused), black to ground.
2. Ignition: white (DIN1) to the key-switch / main contactor output.
3. Optional: DIN2 to the brush motor, DIN3 to the vacuum motor (hour meters).
4. Configurator: Server domain tele1.assetnetwork.app, port 5027, TCP, Codec 8 Extended, backup server tele2.assetnetwork.app (backup mode), sleep: GPS sleep, records sorting: newest first.
5. Use the app's live install test: switch the machine on and off, check GNSS fix and voltage.

Never configure an IP address — the hostname lets us move servers without touching your devices.

Connect Claude / ChatGPT

Add a custom connector with https://mcp.assetnetwork.app/mcp, sign in, pick the scopes. Revoke in Settings → AI assistant.

API

Create a token in Settings → API tokens. curl -H "Authorization: Bearer $TOKEN" https://api.assetnetwork.app/v1/assets. Cursor pagination, filter[...] params, RFC 9457 errors, idempotency keys, 429 with Retry-After.
